My poor little Abby got bit by something 2 weeks ago! This one on her face was as big as a quarter, puffy and hot to the touch. These pictures don't do them justice, they looked a lot worse!!:(
This one was bad. It was as big as a softball or baseball! It was very hot to the touch and it was welted up. In the middle was a cluster of small blisters and the center of it was hard.
The bite was on the inside of her right leg above her knee.As it healed, the redness started to go away, the welt was getting smaller, and all that was left was the small cluster of blisters in the middle. Finally, after 2 weeks, it is all healed. You can still see a faint outline where the biggest part of the sore was.

Those bites look horrible--poor thing! But hey, atleast she has fun riding her bike like a big girl! Way to go Abby! Your furry friends are cute too! Gardens are so rewarding! We love having our little one, some day we'll have a big one like you. :)
ReplyDeleteBit time ouch!! That doesn't look fun at all!! I'm glad you took her to the Dr., it's always best to make sure!! Hope you guys all get to feeling better soon around your house!! HUGS!
ReplyDeleteYikes! That's scary! I wonder what kind of spider/bug did that?? I'm glad she's all healed up now!! :)
ReplyDeleteThose bites look exactly like the ones my boys used to get when they were little (baby to 18 months), Conner especially. Both Conner and Hunter are allergic to mosquitoes and that's what their bites would look like every time they got bit.
ReplyDeleteYuck I hate spiders we have a lot of black widows and I worry about my kids all the time.
