Whitney had to make a model of the Digestive System and explain what the process is for digesting food. So her dad and I gave her some ideas and she took them and came up with this awesome model. She used part of a vacuum hose for the asophogus, a balloon for the stomach, rope for the large intestine, yarn for the small intestine, red fruit roll-up for the liver, a piece of a scrubbing spunge for the gall bladder, and half of a yellow scrubbing spunge for the pancreas. Whitney did such a good job. Then I typed up all of the parts and what their roll was in digesting food, and put them on colored index cards. Whitney then taped them onto the model and drew a line to the part. She had a good time making this with her dad and I.
