Beaver Trap

Whitney had to make a Beaver Trap for a grade in Mrs. Hessenthaler's 4th grade class. Whitney and her dad had a blast making this. They made this back in the fall, but I wanted to put it on here so I didn't forget. They used wood and fencing material to make the cage. It was spray painted brown, and Whitney put dry leaves and sticks inside of it. They made a little door with a popsicle stick and string to hold it up. When the beaver would go in and grab the stick the door would come down and the beaver would be caught. It was a fun project for the two of them to do together. A little bit of daddy-daughter time.
