Last Wed. the 1st of April, I went to school with Abby. I try and volunteer every month. The day is usually full of excitement. When we arrived at school, we had to go and wash hands first thing. Then we get to set our place on the table for breakfast. We had cinnamon raisin toast with oranges. Mmmmm, it was good. After breakfast, the kids get to brush their teeth while they play the song called "Brush Rap" for 2 minutes. Then it was time for circle. This is when they get to sing their alphabet song, and do some movement. The picture above with Abby dancing, they are doing their favorite song called the Tooty Ta. It is hilarious to watch the kids dance to this song! At circle, they were instructed to go and get their notebooks and practice writing their name. They got to go anywhere in the classroom and do it. When they were finished with that, it was time to plan centers. Abby planned science area, computer area, and listening area. Then when they were through with centers, we got to go outside and play. After outside time, we came in and washed up to get ready for lunch. Cooker Sandy made a very delicious lunch. We had ham, scalloped potatoes, green beans, pineapple, and rolls. It tasted really good. Then it was time to go home! I enjoyed spending the day with my daughter at preschool.
